Embracing Difference – Nahalet Eran

On June 3rd, 2020 the IPO held a special concert in the breathtaking amphitheater of the rehabilitative village ADI Negev – Nachlat Eran in the south of Israel to celebrate the opening of the village’s Neuro-Orthopaedic Hospital as well as the 70th birthday of ADI Negev’s Founder and Chairman, Major General (Res.) Doron Almog.

A model of advanced disability inclusion and diversity, ADI Negev – Nahalat Eran serves as an extensive residential and rehabilitative complex in the Negev that provides highest-level specialized rehabilitative care for individuals from all backgrounds and levels of need.

This unique concert was performed in the embracing presence of 500 guests who came from all corners of the country and it still resonates in our hearts up until today. The event was initiated by the IPO Foundation, in collaboration with Nachlat Eran, as part of the Foundation’s mission to promote musical-social impact.

It was a great and rare privilege for the Orchestra and the Foundation to be part, if only for a brief moment, of the venue’s mission to create OLAM HESED (a world of grace) by providing the highest caliber of inclusive care for those with severe cognitive developmental disabilities.
